More than 200 highly motivated, expert employees ensure the supply of our regional and international customers in Bernese Niederbipp, including with the Swiss traditional brand Tela. As a family-run company, Tela has been a partner in a group of hygiene paper factories existing for well over 40 years in Switzerland, Germany, and Poland since 2021.

General Project Manager 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Project responsibility: From the first idea to commissioning, you take responsibility for exciting projects involving infrastructure, process automation, and production plants. Costs, quality, and deadlines? You always have them in view!
• Drive innovation: You recognize technical potentials, develop clever solutions, and take our production plants to the next level. Efficiency, safety, and sustainability are the focus.
• Everything on course: As a central hub, you coordinate internal and external partners, manage our project portfolio, and ensure full transparency regarding costs, resources, and progress with well-thought-out controlling.
• From idea to implementation: You develop solution concepts, check their economic efficiency, accompany procurement negotiations, and create technical documentation. In doing so, you ensure that good ideas become successful projects.

Profile

• Education: You have a technical education with further training at HF or FH level in mechanical engineering, process, paper, or electrical engineering, industrial engineering, and ideally further training in project management.
• Professional experience: You bring several years of experience in managing technical projects, ideally in industry or paper production. Even complex projects do not unnerve you.
• Technical understanding & IT competence: You are very familiar with MS Office, think digitally, and are enthusiastic about technical solutions. Experience with process plants is a plus.
• Personality: You think ahead, make decisions, and consistently bring projects to their goal. Strong communication skills, initiative, and a structured way of working characterize you.
• Languages: You communicate confidently and convincingly in German. English skills are an advantage.
