Assistant Physician Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist FMH (M/F)

Your main objective is to ensure the smooth functioning of the mental health service across several sites in the region, handling various outpatient mandates such as the primary mandate of general child psychiatry, the development of an intervention project within a day hospital, and coordination within the Perinatality network. You perform in-depth clinical evaluations for our young patients and include interviews with their parents or guardians and the care network. The implementation of precise and detailed clinical investigations will allow for the refinement of diagnostic questions and the establishment of a precise indication and management plan that is evaluable in terms of quality and sustainability. You will develop and ensure the implementation of personalized treatment plans for your own patients and will also supervise their correct application in the case of therapies provided by frontline colleagues (physician and psychologist in training) for whom you will assume responsibility. You are responsible for providing individual, family, or co-parenting therapy, as well as potentially group therapies to children and adolescents, depending on the projects to be developed and the needs of the patients. You work in close collaboration with other mental health professionals, ensuring careful and high-quality multidisciplinary collaboration, while respecting the mandates and position of each. You participate in various interdisciplinary meetings (Child Psychiatry network, Perinatality network, internal Child Psychiatry colloquiums, joint meetings with Adult Psychiatry if applicable...) and maintain and document patient files in a precise and conscientious manner. You hold a medical degree recognized in Switzerland (MEBEKO) and a specialist title (FMH or equivalent) in child psychiatry. You master French (minimum C1 level). You possess clinical experience in a university setting, which is desirable. Having a CAS would be an additional advantage (Perinatality, Forensic or other...)
