EOC Pneumology is a dynamic and integrated service, present in 4 cantonal locations with 15 specialists, covering the entire spectrum of respiratory pathologies and sleep medicine. L-Ospedale Regionale di Lugano is its reference center, where the most complex and innovative activities are concentrated.
We offer varied and stimulating clinical work, divided between outpatient clinics at the Ospedale Italiano, endoscopic activity, inpatient care, and consultations at the Ospedale Civico, accompanied by integration into a close-knit and multidisciplinary team, characterized by a strong collaborative spirit and constant openness to innovation.
The ideal candidate will take charge of patients with respiratory pathologies, sleep ventilation disorders, and will perform bronchoscopies and non-invasive and invasive instrumental examinations. They will also be available to perform pulmonology on-call duties for after-hours consultations from all EOC locations.

• degree/diploma in medicine and specialization in Pulmonology or equivalent title with relative registration in MedReg before the start of work activity;

• proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with relative registration in MedReg before the start of work activity. Good knowledge of the English language and preferably another national language;
• consolidated experience in Pulmonology with skills in diagnostic endoscopy, acquired at least in a university setting or in a cantonal hospital or equivalent foreign institute in a Service with acute Pulmonology;
• specialization in General Internal Medicine, knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, and familiarity with the university context constitute a preferential qualification.
