Lead System Technician for Rail Vehicles (m/f/d)

To support one of our customers in Zürich, we are looking for a Lead System Technician for Rail Vehicles (m/f/d) to complement the field service team. The main task is the in-depth technical analysis and troubleshooting of complex braking systems. The work takes place both in the office and directly at the customer's site. We are looking for an independent and self-responsible personality who convinces through their technical competence.

Tasks:

• Support the team during deployment preparations as well as during in-depth technical analyses
• Creation of conversion instructions and technical protocols
• Performing system tests and measurements on rail vehicles
• Assessment and rectification of malfunctions, errors, and their causes
• Service assignments, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of braking systems at the customer's site
• Interface between various departments and customers

Requirements:

• Training in the electromechanical field (mechatronics technician, electromechanical technician, polymechanic, automation technician or similar)
• Further training at HF level in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable
• IT affinity and confident handling of Office365
• Great personal responsibility and high quality awareness
• Enjoyment of working in both the mechanical and electrical areas
• Willingness to travel of approx. 60% on working days, predominantly in Switzerland
• You are communicative, independent, goal-oriented, and want to develop new knowledge
• Driver's license Cat. B is mandatorily required
• English in spoken and written form, any further language is welcome, very good German skills round off your profile.
