For the Social Counseling team, we are looking for, starting from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, a

Social Worker KJG and KPÜ 40 % ##

Your main tasks ###

• Case management and administrative processing of cases according to the Child and Adolescent Home Act (KJG) and cases of health insurance premium subsidies (KPÜ)
• Issuing subsidiary cost approvals for ordered or recommended measures in child protection
• Examination of the necessity of recommended child protection measures in close cooperation with responsible legal guardians
• Examination of local jurisdiction according to the Jurisdiction Act
• Examination of the financial capacity of families and assertion of parental contributions
• Clarification and assertion of subsidiary benefits
• Networking with the Kinder- und Jugendhilfezentrum (kjz) Dietikon
• Eligibility assessment and issuance of benefit decisions in KPÜ cases according to the Social Assistance Act (SHG)
• Participation in the further development of internal processes, work aids, and quality standards in the areas of child protection financing and health insurance premium subsidies

Your profile ###

• Completed studies in Social Work (HF or FH)
• Experience in child protection and/or social assistance desired
• Enjoyment of independent work and process development
• Openness in dealing with people from various population groups and cultures
• Understanding of the demanding relationship dynamics in child protection
• Initiative, openness, and assertiveness
• Sound experience in administration
• Proficient German
