Specialist in Finance and Accounting (60 - 80%)

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Independent management of the financial accounting (general and subsidiary ledgers)
• Participation in and preparation of periodic closings (month, quarter, year)
• Timely processing and declaration of VAT
• Regular reconciliation and maintenance of all relevant balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Collaboration in payment transactions as well as in the verification and recording of accounts payable and bank documents
• Active management of the accounts receivable area including the dunning process
• Maintenance and updating of fixed assets
• Reliable mutual substitution within the accounting team during absences

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Sound commercial foundation with targeted professional training in finance and accounting (e.g., Federal Diploma)
• Several years of proven professional experience in accounting including sound closing security
• Proficient use of MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel (incl. Pivot analyses)
• Business fluent German as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
• Exact, goal-oriented and independent way of working coupled with a high affinity for numbers
• Strong analytical thinking skills, helpfulness and flexibility in everyday life
