Chief Physician / Chief Physician Psychiatry St. Gallen

Clinical leadership with vision: a key position in which you will strategically develop and shape a psychiatric clinic. In the St. Gallen area, we are looking for a Chief Physician (female) or a Chief Physician (male) for adult psychiatry immediately or by arrangement as part of a forward-looking succession plan. In a recovery-oriented clinic with university affiliation, you will initially take over leadership in a co-chief physician model and grow structurally into overall responsibility.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• As part of the succession planning, you will take over the co-chief physician leadership of the psychiatric clinic and work closely with the current Chief Physician
• You will initiate, manage, and accompany development and change processes and contribute your expertise to the overall company
• In addition to your leadership function, you will be clinically active and supervise a clearly defined treatment area
• You will lead the Category A training center in adult psychiatry and are involved in the recruitment, training, and further education of medical and psychological specialists
• You will represent the physicians as well as the psychologists in internal and external committees
• You are a member of the clinic management and actively participate in shaping site-specific and cross-site projects

What you bring with you

• Specialist title for psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a psychiatric institution as well as a completed dissertation
• Completed leadership or management training; specialist title or habilitation is an advantage
• Good networking in the Swiss healthcare system
