We intervene with elderly people who are dependent or suffering from cognitive disorders to allow them to continue living at home for as long as possible.

The mission

You intervene at the home of an elderly person who is dependent or suffering from cognitive disorders, in the Lausanne region, in day, night, or alternating shifts, several days per week including regular weekends.

Your responsibilities include notably :

• Active, reassuring, and structuring presence at home
• Maintenance of landmarks and daily rhythm
• Prevention of risky situations
• Meal preparation
• Routine shopping and accompanied travel
• Support with hygiene and dressing
• Light maintenance of the living environment and laundry
• Coordination with relatives and existing caregivers

Profile sought

• CRS health assistant certificate or equivalent recognized in Switzerland (mandatory)
• Confirmed experience in accompanying people suffering from Alzheimer's disease (mandatory)
• Several years of experience in private home care in Switzerland (mandatory)
• Available immediately (mandatory)
• Ready to work on weekends (mandatory)
• Comfortable with 12-hour shifts, day, night, or alternating
• Reliable, patient, discreet, keen sense of observation
• Fluent French (oral and written)
• Valid work permit in Switzerland
• Criminal record extract required
