Timber Technician 100% CDI (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Manage timber construction projects from A to Z, from the preliminary design to delivery
• Perform technical studies, static calculations and structural dimensioning
• Develop execution plans using Cadwork software
• Prepare quotes, measurements and participate in the financial monitoring of projects
• Ensure the coordination of the various stakeholders and guarantee respect for budgets and deadlines
• Supervise the monitoring of work in the workshop and on site as well as quality control
• Advise and support clients, architects, engineers and partners throughout the projects

Profile

• Training as Technicien ES Bois, Technicien ES Charpente, Ingénieur HES Bois or a title deemed equivalent
• Experience in the design and implementation of timber construction projects
• Solid knowledge of current Swiss standards and regulations
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Rigorous, autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented personality
• Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and sense of responsibility
• Good command of standard IT tools as well as Cadwork
• Sensitivity to the challenges of sustainable construction and ecology
