The Department of Medicine (D-MED) is composed of 14 medico-nursing entities (12 medical services, 1 Unité d'investigation et de traitements brefs (UITB) and the Centre de transfusion sanguine (CTS)) with notably the particularity of having technical platforms in its organization (including interventional cardiology and digestive and pulmonary endoscopy), several treatment and care platforms (biological treatments, photopheresis and medicine care), 1 hospital and outpatient dialysis center. 3 rehabilitation and habilitation programs.

Job description ##

You manage the stocks and threshold levels of material ordered externally and internally for the service.

You carry out material purchases in compliance with allocated budgets.

You manage the maintenance and upkeep of equipment with partners.

You also manage the maintenance and works in the various premises of the service and coordinate the organization of these.

You propose and apply management rules for stocks placed under your responsibility.

You evaluate the needs of the units in connection with the needs of the care teams and propose appropriate supply measures in order to control costs.

You ensure liaison with the various technical and logistical partners (central warehouse, purchasing center, technical service, sterilization, linen service, printing center).

You participate in the training of nursing staff for the introduction of new consumables or equipment.

Profile description ##

You hold a diploma in healthcare and support assistance or have training in the logistics field.

You have a good knowledge of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève and also have good knowledge of institutional IT tools.

You have a very good command of French, both spoken and written.

You are a person who is at once organized, rigorous, dynamic, and autonomous to work effectively in a collaborative manner.

You also possess the tools allowing you to deal with unforeseen events and thus easily manage stress situations proactively. You demonstrate good abilities of adaptation, teamwork, and physical resistance.

You are ready or prepared to follow the CAS Supply Chain Industrielle.
