For the Roman Catholic parish office Freienbach, we are looking for a
Parish Secretary (50%)
in job sharing as of 1 June 2026 or by arrangement.
The Freienbach parish includes the parish church St. Adelrich in Freienbach, the Bruder-Kapelle in Bäch and the Kapelle St. in Wilen. The parish community comprises over 3'000 Catholics and has an active and diverse community life.
The Parish Secretary is the important link between the church staff, the parishioners and the general public.
The working days are Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday all day.
Your tasks
general secretarial work
Information and contact person at the reception and on the telephone
Administrative cooperation with the service schedule
Public relations (church newsletter, website and publications)
Maintenance of the assigned parish books and the parish office archive
Processing the address file and creating mailings
Coordination of baptisms, weddings and funerals
Room and appointment management of the parish premises
Deputization and holiday cover in the secretarial team
Your profile
Completed commercial vocational training with professional experience
Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Organized, team player, reliability and empathetic
Independent way of working
Joy in dealing with people and a positive attitude towards the church
Flexibility regarding deputizations and holiday cover
