Spare Parts Service Clerk 100 % - temporary with option for permanent employment

For our client, an established trading and service company for machines for professional wood, aluminum, and metal processing in Luzern, we are looking for a technically savvy and commercially skilled personality to support the spare parts service. The product range includes, among others, CNC machining centers, panel and circular saws, band saws, as well as other machines and systems for professional processing.

In the spare parts service, much revolves around mechanical, electrical, and machine-specific spare and wear parts for these systems. A certain level of technical understanding is therefore very helpful for this task.

The position has arisen due to a health-related absence and will initially be filled temporarily. Depending on further development, there is the possibility and probability that the position will be to be filled permanently at a later date.

Your tasks

• Processing and coordination of spare parts inquiries
• Purchasing and procurement of spare parts from suppliers
• Obtaining and processing supplier offers
• Inquiries and coordination of repair offers
• Maintenance and administration of stock levels
• Recording and processing of processes in the ERP system
• Administrative processing of orders and contracts
• Coordination with the warehouse and occasional short errands to the magazine

Your profile

• Commercial or technical basic training
• Technical understanding and interest in machines and spare parts
• Experience in spare parts service, technical indoor service, purchasing, or in a comparable function is an advantage
• Confident handling of ERP systems; knowledge of Proffix is an advantage
• English or Italian language skills are welcome due to cooperation with machine suppliers from Northern Italy, but are not a requirement
• Independent, reliable, and uncomplicated way of working
• Enjoyment of a versatile interface function between the office, suppliers, and warehouse

What awaits you

You will take on a varied task in a down-to-earth technical environment with short decision-making paths. The activity takes place exclusively in the office, whereby you are in regular contact with the warehouse and the technical areas.

The weekly working time is 42 hours. The start of work is flexibly possible between 07:00 and 08:00, the end of work is around 17:00.

The assignment is intended to be temporary for the time being. Depending on the development of the personnel situation, the possibility of permanent employment may arise from this.
