The municipality of Oberengstringen is located on the right side of the Limmat Valley between the forest and the Limmat, directly on the city border of Zürich. It is characterized by a good infrastructure as well as a diverse and active village life. The socio-spatial youth work of the municipality makes an important contribution to the development of adolescents and young adults and undertakes diverse tasks in the municipality within the framework of its socio-cultural mandate. For the Open Youth Work Oberengstringen, we are looking for a Youth Worker 50 - 70 % ## per immediately or by arrangement. Our team consists of three specialists. Due to the team constellation, we prefer a female-identifying person, but welcome all applications. Emil, our office dog, occasionally strengthens our team. We are flexible in the structuring of our activities, but we orient ourselves according to the youth work concept of the municipality. Socially relevant topics as well as the promotion of equal opportunities through our non-formal offers are just as important to us as lived diversity. Our main working hours are between Wednesday and Friday, occasionally also on Saturdays, within the framework of the annual working time. Youth Worker 50 - 70 % ## Your main tasks • Supervision of the youth info, counseling and support • Leadership of the volunteer group «OE4OE»: Organization and implementation of youth and community events • Main responsibility «Meitliträff» • Co-leadership StreetClub (Wednesday afternoon offer for middle school) and occasional supervision of the open meeting on Friday evenings • Planning and implementation of projects in the areas of leisure, sport, culture, school and career finding • Networking with youth-relevant actors • Outreach youth work • Public relations Your profile • Training in the social sector (FH or HF), in training or a diverse educational and experience profile • Joy in working with adolescents and young adults; anti-racist and gender-sensitive youth work is important to you • Teamwork skills as well as an independent way of working • Creativity and openness to different topics You can find out more about us at www.jugend4oe.ch .
