Your contribution

• Perform tasks related to the fulfillment of the total mandatory training service days and the military service obligation of the assigned troops, such as managing service days, service calls, mutations, and promotions
• Conduct inquiries with applicants, employers, and authorities as well as decide on requests for service deferment and changes in incorporation
• Process files through the army personnel management system (PISA), monitor deadlines, issue and manage service calls regarding individual services (courses, reports, etc.)
• Ensure quality control of service day notifications before entry into PISA and the correct application of the respective regulations concerning the computability of service days
• Initiate inquiries and evaluate the results of investigations; verify and initiate requests for preliminary collection of evidence for soldiers who failed to report for service (omission of service)
• Represent the SPT control maintenance in working groups and projects

What distinguishes you

• Commercial vocational training with relevant experience for the function, preferably in a public administration
• Knowledge of the military field constitutes an advantage
• Negotiation skills and customer orientation
• Autonomy, reliability, initiative, structured way of working, sense of responsibility, and team spirit
• Written and oral knowledge of a second official language

The Instruction Command (Cdo Istr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to general basic instruction to officer training -- regarding both the militia and professional soldiers. It includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five training formations, the Instruction Center, and the specialized Women in the Army and diversity service. A third of the approximately 2350 employees are active in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative, or sporting fields and contribute to success alongside professional soldiers.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
