DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Project: For our client from the banking industry, we are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer for the further construction and expansion of the Microsoft Azure platform in the Azure Basis Team. The focus is on the optimization of Microsoft Entra ID and the associated automation. In addition, you will support the integration of new Azure Basis Services.

Tasks:

• Developing and implementing automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID and related services using Terraform and APIs with Go.
• Configuring and optimizing App Registrations, Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access policies, and Administrative Units.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining authentication and authorization flows with OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect for SSO and other applications.
• Developing conceptual specifications for and SAML flows as well as their implementation in the various applications.
• Creating and continuously optimizing authentication and authorization rules, including automated tests and monitoring.
• Managing and optimizing Azure and Microsoft 365 services in the area of identity management and security.
• Contributing current developments for the hardening of Entra ID and further developing the framework for configuration monitoring.
• Supporting the integration of new Azure Basis Services.
• Creating technical documentation and training internal teams on Entra ID and DevOps topics.

Requirements:

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and sound knowledge of Azure Basis Services.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, especially Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Application Proxy.
• Sound practical knowledge in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation as well as tools and programming languages such as GitLab, Go, Python, or Bash.
• Good understanding of network security, IAM standards, and authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience in the application of cloud security technologies.
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Completed computer science training at FH/university level or an equivalent qualification.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as a structured and independent way of working.
• High quality and security awareness as well as a communicative, team-, and customer-oriented personality.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, especially in the area of identity management and security, is an advantage.
