Design Engineer

## To strengthen our Product Engineering Team for Industrial Heating at Leister Technologies AG, we are looking for a project-oriented and highly motivated personality with a high degree of personal responsibility.  Our Industrial Heating division is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative, high-quality technical products and technologies in the industrial environment, particularly in the areas of process heat and infrared technologies. Your tasks ## • Development of innovative solutions in the areas of design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly technology • Collaboration in assigned product projects, from the idea to the product launch - according to the innovation process • Supervision of the manufacturing and assembly of functional models, prototypes, and pilot series • Execution and documentation of component, device, and system tests • Responsibility for the proper and timely execution of the conformity assessment according to standards and laws • Documentation and passing on the findings obtained to the R&D and QM departments • Support in product maintenance and continuous improvement of existing solutions Your profile ## • Basic technical training as a designer with several years of professional experience and/or further training towards mechanical engineering/design technology HF/FH or mechanical technician TS with professional experience • Experience in the design of industrial serial products in a cost- and quality-oriented environment • Very good CAD user knowledge (Siemens Solid Edge) and ideally proficient in handling ERP systems (SAP) • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding), materials, and production technologies is an advantage • Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing What awaits you ## • exciting activity in a market-leading, international company in the Canton of Obwalden • versatile tasks in an innovative and dynamic technology environment • Collegial and helpful interaction, "Du" culture • flexible working time models and up to two days of home office - where possible and sensible • very good support for new and innovative ideas • support for further training and opportunities for personal and professional development • company canteen in Kägiswil and fresh catering options in Sarnen, attractive benefits, free parking including E-charging stations, showers for athletes Note for recruitment agencies ## For this position, we only consider direct applications.
