Tasks

• You take responsibility for the definition of the system architecture of our sophisticated mechatronic systems in an interdisciplinary team, the derivation of the technical specifications for the required hardware and software functions and the planning and ensuring of the technical verification for the systems
• As a System Architect, you are the technical interface between the various development disciplines and Product Management
• You are the technical contact person in the project for the Product Manager and the Project Manager and offer specialist support in the project or lead sub-projects yourself with a focus on technical implementation
• Your tasks also include performing technical risk analyses and deriving verification strategies and test plans to ensure the required UPH, accuracy, safety, and usability product requirements
• Technical coordination and cooperation with our external development partners expand the diverse range of tasks
• In addition, you support Product Management with customer demos, the clarification of new customer requirements and the development of technical solution proposals

Profile

• You have a completed degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable directions and bring more than 5 years of experience in the field of Mechatronics, Automation and/or Control Design
• Good German and English skills round off your profile
• You bring enthusiasm for high-tech precision machine construction, have strong analytical skills as well as a high customer orientation
• Your motivated and flexible personality as well as your implementation qualities support us optimally
• We are looking for a motivated team player who is able to work flexibly and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage interfaces to several teams and organizations
• Willingness for occasional travel
