Gardener (m/f) Temporary

Requirements

Completed training as a landscape gardener EFZ or several years of professional experience in garden and landscape construction
Experience in horticulture, garden maintenance, and landscape design
Physically resilient and weather-resistant
Independent, reliable, and clean way of working
Good German skills (at least A2–B1)
Driving license category B is an advantage
Experience in handling construction machinery is an advantage

Tasks

New installations and redesigning of gardens and green spaces
Paving work, laying slabs, and edging
Construction of paths, walls, and stairs
Earthworks, excavation, and terrain modeling
Installation of drainage and irrigation systems
Planting of trees, shrubs, and hedges
Lawn construction and sod laying
Garden care, hedge trimming, and general garden maintenance
Operation of mini excavators, dumpers, and compaction equipment

Knowledge

Knowledge of various plant species and their care
Experience with natural stone, concrete slabs, and paving stones
Knowledge in handling mini excavators and other horticultural machinery
Basic knowledge in surveying and leveling
Understanding of construction plans and technical drawings
Knowledge in the field of drainage and irrigation
Compliance with Swiss occupational safety regulations
Experience in the independent execution of horticultural projects
