Registered Nurse HF 80 - 100% # Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is, as part of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs of the Canton of Zurich, responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of various types of detention. For our 1'400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of convicted people and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance. The newly created Main Department Medical Service ensures the basic medical-somatic care for incarcerated persons in all correctional institutions in the Canton of Zurich. As a central organizational unit, it guarantees harmonized and high-quality healthcare according to the principle of equivalence and works closely with the Psychiatric-Psychological Service and the JuWe institutions. The Main Department Untersuchungsgefängnisse Zürich (UGZ) - one of eight main departments of JuWe - currently operates seven prisons for investigation and security detention. The Gefängnis Zürich, with its 135 places, is the largest investigation prison in the Canton of Zurich. Our tasks and challenges are diverse, but we master them together as a team. For our Medical Service, we are looking for an engaged and dynamic personality starting immediately or by arrangement. This is your area of impact ### • Accompanying and supporting incarcerated persons in everyday life as well as in crisis situations • First intervention in medical and psychiatric emergencies • Organization and cooperation in somatic, psychiatric and dental consultations • Co-designing and developing the department by contributing your professional and social competence • Contact point for medical questions and emergencies as well as for the training of employees in health-related matters • Shared responsibility for material and medication management as well as the management of the pharmacy • Administrative work such as billing and correspondence with external interfaces • Taking on early shifts from Monday-Friday in the health service to ensure continuous care. Weekend and holiday services are divided within the team and occur on a rotation of four to five weeks What you bring with you ### • Completed training as a Dipl.
