To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed personality as Head of Technology in the Steelworks (m/f/d) at a 100% workload, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Personnel leadership of six directly subordinate employees and the Technology department (mechanics, electrical, and infrastructure)
• Collaboration in the Steelworks (SW) management team
• Ensuring the availability and preservation of value of plants & infrastructure in the steelworks, taking into account optimal use of personnel and material
• Cooperation with other managers at the plant site and suppliers
• Realization of continuous improvements (KVP)
• Responsibility for regular maintenance and large summer revisions
• Responsibility for the budget, the key figures, and
• the investment planning in the area of Technology SW
• Responsibility for compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Your profile

• Completed basic technical training with higher vocational training (FH Engineer)
• Several years of leadership and industrial experience
• Leading people, developing them, and achieving successes together are among your strengths
• Responsible, reliable, structured, entrepreneurial, and strong implementation-oriented way of working
• Communication- & decision-strong personality
• Business-fluent German skills in speaking and writing, good English skills
• MS Office and SAP user knowledge
• Readiness for on-call duties as well as flexibility in a 24/7 operation
