The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum (UPZ) Bern offers versatile and responsible tasks in acute psychiatry on the Beyeler and Streit wards. In a dynamic environment, you accompany patients with different clinical pictures. The work is oriented towards a person-centered, recovery-oriented mission statement and combines a comprehensive range of non-medicinal interventions to support the self-efficacy of the patients.
As an additional night watch, you support the professional care of our patients during the night together with the registered nurses. Additionally, you take on the defined tasks within the framework of the fire protection project.

Your tasks

• You support patients with psychiatric clinical pictures with their needs during the night.
• You take on, if required, tasks in 1:1 care.
• Additionally, you take on cleaning and logistics tasks for the nursing team.
• You carry out ward-crossing control rounds to safely maintain operations.
• You are responsible for the tasks regarding fire prevention.

Your profile

• You have completed training as an Assistent/-in Gesundheit und Soziales EBA or Pflegehelfer/-in SRK and already have initial professional experience.
• You possess strong professional, social, and self-competence
• You communicate clearly and empathically and possess high social competence.
• You are a reliable and responsible personality.
• You have good German language skills.
• You are interested in fire prevention measures.
