What you bring:

• Completed 3- or 4-year vocational apprenticeship with Federal Certificate of Proficiency, additional qualification Specialist in Corrections with Federal Diploma of Higher Education desirable or the willingness to complete this course
• Resilience, composure, teamwork skills as well as a reliable and independent way of working, oral foreign language skills are an advantage
• High social competence and emotional stability as well as understanding and tolerance in dealing with people of different origins
• Readiness to work in a 3-shift operation including weekend shifts
• Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable reputation (current criminal and debt enforcement register extract),
• Driver's license Cat. B

Your working environment:

In the Lenzburg correctional facility (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/jva-lenzburg), persons who have been sentenced to a prison sentence or a custodial measure are cared for. The offering includes 380 execution places for closed execution, pre-trial detention and short sentences.

The central prison of the Lenzburg correctional facility is further expanding its offering and is creating a specialized admission department, which will in the future process all cantonal admissions around the clock. For this department, we are looking for committed and resilient employees who, with professionalism and tact, make an important contribution to safety, care and an orderly daily routine of execution. If required, assignments in other departments are also possible.
