About Our Client ##

For a successful company in the Bern area, we are looking for a Senior Accountant who brings their expertise in finance and accounting and ensures financial reporting with high quality and reliability.

Job Description ##

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Responsibility for maintaining the general ledger as well as ensuring correct financial accounting
• Performance of reconciliations and analyses as well as ensuring closing quality
• Support in budget, forecast and reporting processes
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
• Participation in the optimization and digitalization of financial processes
• Support in projects in finance and accounting

The Successful Applicant ##

• Several years of experience in finance and accounting
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Further training in the field of finance and accounting is an advantage
• Independent, precise and responsible way of working
• Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of working with different stakeholders
• Proficient German, further language skills are a plus
