The School of Practical Arts department at EHL is dedicated to the practical learning of hospitality trades, combining operational excellence and academic rigor. Pastry Chef – Berceau des Sens Berceau des Sens is the gastronomic restaurant of EHL, starred in the Michelin Guide and a true place of learning for students. It offers an exceptional culinary experience, combining creativity, refinement, and quality products. Supervised by professionals, students develop their cooking and service skills there in a demanding and authentic environment. Berceau des Sens embodies the excellence and know-how of EHL in the art of hospitality. Responsibilities: Participate in the production of desserts and pastries for our gastronomic restaurant, ensuring compliance with the standards of excellence and creativity specific to the establishment. Supervise a group of students in the workshop to ensure planned production. Order and control raw materials, manage stocks, and control HACCP hygiene standards. Verify preparations and desserts (taste, quality, and presentation). Organize and maintain the workstation and equipment. Profile: You have a CFC, BP, or BTS training in hotel/restaurant management with a specialization in pastry. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within renowned establishments (4/5 star hotels or starred houses). You are a flexible, positive, and proactive person. You possess organizational skills, a strong team spirit, and excellent stress resistance. You have good pedagogical skills and you enjoy transmitting as well as sharing your professional knowledge. You have a very good command of French and English (service and teaching are conducted in both languages).
