Specialist in Care temporary until 16.07.2027, Schule Mattenhof, 40 %

As of 17. August 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for, temporary until 16. July 2027,
a specialist in care ISR for the care of an ISR child (special needs student integrated into regular school) in school care as well as one afternoon in lessons

Tasks ##

Working days: - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each from 12.00 to
16.00

• during the holidays each one week in the sports,

spring, autumn and Christmas holidays from 08.00 to
16.00 for five days

• as well as two weeks in the summer holidays from 08.00 to

16.00 for five days
Limitation: 16. July 2027, with the possibility of an extension

Your tasks:
You accompany and support a second-kindergarten child with special needs during the care time and lesson time. The child is integrated into everyday school life and additionally accompanied by a teacher with training in School Special Education (SHP).

Your tasks include:

• Care and guidance of the child during the care time and on Friday afternoon in lessons
• Relationship building with the ISR child and support in social and professional learning
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with the school staff involved in the promotion
• Parent contact
• Active collaboration in the school team
• Organizational and administrative tasks
• Domestic tasks

Profile ##

• Openness and willingness to engage with students with special needs
• Experience in dealing with children, ideally with special educational needs
• Joy in working with children from different cultures
• High flexibility in thinking and acting, initiative and teamwork skills
• Strength in organizational and administrative activities
• You have the EFZ Fachperson Betreuung, specialization in childcare or an equivalent recognized training (Kleinkindererzieher*in)

The Schulkreis Schwamendingen comprises the entire district 12 of the City of Zürich. Schwamendingen is a lively, multiculturally composed residential area. We are well reachable via public transport via Bahnhof Stettbach and Oerlikon with various tram and bus lines.

The Tagesschule Mattenhof works at all levels with mixed-age learning groups. The school comprises three kindergartens as well as ten mixed-grade primary classes. Since summer 2020, the Schule Mattenhof has been run as a day school.
