Junior works manager (m/f/d)

Your job ##

• Collaboration in the preparation of works (AVOR) and support in the operational management of complex construction sites or multiple small-scale projects
• Support to the site manager in technical management, planning of deployments, and coordination of site personnel
• Collaboration to ensure project execution in compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality standards
• Support in ensuring occupational safety and compliance with all current regulations
• Point of contact for the client and for parties involved in the project, in agreement with the site manager
• Active collaboration in the continuous accounting of services
• Participation in the identification, reporting, and negotiation of additional services (management of contractual supplements)
• Support in the continuous control of costs and monitoring of the budget, including monthly reporting
• Verification of invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, as well as management of related orders
• Collaboration in project management until its conclusion, including the relevant documentation
• Support in the preparation and continuous updating of construction schedules and in resource planning (personnel, machinery, and materials)
• Collaboration in the preparation of offers (planning of construction phases, material requests, and cost calculations)

Your profile ##

• Completed training - or in progress - in the construction sector (e.g., works manager, site manager with complementary training, SSS technician or equivalent qualification)
• Initial practical experience in the construction sector, ideally in the railway sector
• Interest in project management, construction processes, and estimating
• Basic knowledge regarding liquidations, accounting, and site administration
• Willingness to take responsibility for small construction sites
• Good organizational skills and a structured way of working
• Teamwork attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability
• Good applied knowledge of MS Office
• Awareness of safety regulations on construction sites
• Good knowledge of German, both written and spoken; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
