Care, guidance, and support for beneficiaries living in a residential home, in close collaboration with the educational team.

Close collaboration with placement services, the health network, and the family to ensure comprehensive and adapted follow-up.

Parenting support.

Irregular working hours depending on the needs of the young people and the organization of the home.

Activity rate: 80 to 90 %

Class: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the Etat de Genève

Education:

• Bachelor in social work – Haute école de travail social (HETS), or
• Certified social educator – École supérieure (ES), or
• University Bachelor – Licence FAPSE completed by one year of full-time professional practice in a residential setting or in IGE, or
• Bachelor in nursing.

Foreign diplomas must imperatively have a SEFRI recognition or an official equivalence.

Experience:

Significant experience with children and adolescents in difficulty is indispensable. Previous experience in an emergency residential home is an asset. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to diverse socio-educational populations and situations are expected.

Professional skills:

• Ability to ensure autonomy and responsibility in the guidance of young people and their families
• Ability and interest in working with age groups from 5 to 18 years
• Team spirit, sense of initiative, and ability to collaborate with various internal and external partners
• Solid knowledge of the Geneva social network
• Excellent writing skills in French.
