Your role To strengthen our microwave filter and thermalization d-element (MFT) production team, we are looking for a motivated and meticulous production technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, control, and quality verification of MFT components, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with our high quality standards. Your main tasks • Assembly of electronic and mechanical components as well as sub-assemblies according to work instructions, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings • Manufacture of wound components by applying winding, coating, and encapsulation processes • Performing intermediate and final controls as well as quality checks to detect defects and ensure products meet specifications • Analysis and repair of defective sub-assemblies • Accurate documentation of production data, test results, and deviations • Use, monitoring, and maintenance of production and test equipment used in MFT manufacturing (winding machines, test devices, and setups) • Identification and proposal of improvements to optimize the reliability and efficiency of our production processes What you bring • Completed technical or artisanal vocational training • Solid knowledge in electronic assembly and soldering techniques • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small parts, including under a microscope • Practical experience with hand tools and measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscopes) is an asset • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions, and to follow them precisely • Patience, sustained concentration, and rigor necessary to provide consistent and reproducible quality work • Proficiency in English (ability to participate in internal meetings and read work instructions), knowledge of German is an advantage • Team spirit with good communication skills Our offer We offer a position that contributes directly to fascinating scientific research.
