Social Worker (80- 100%) in the function as Co-Specialist Management KES ##

The Sozialdienst Region Trachselwald supports and advises people in difficult life situations from thirteen municipalities in the Emmental and Oberaargau. Our team works at two advisory centers in Huttwil and in Sumiswald. As a social worker, you will receive valuable support in social work from us through the Administration team, the Accounting team, and a lawyer, as well as regular intervision and supervision. We work in modernly equipped offices with digital dossier management. Thanks to the continuous optimization of our service, we have already been able to reduce the caseload and increase the employment percentages for the specialist management. Our terms of employment are based on cantonal specifications as well as our own personnel regulations. Your tasks ###

In cooperation with a Co-Specialist Management, you are responsible for the specialist management of the Child and Adult Protection department in the Sumiswald advisory center. You support the social workers in the fulfillment of their tasks and ensure the client-oriented, legally compliant, and economically justifiable execution of orders in child and adult protection. In addition, you coordinate the cooperation with the responsible authority and other agencies. Together with the specialist management at the other advisory center, you ensure that the same processes, structures, and attitude issues are implemented at both advisory centers. In addition to the specialist management, depending on the employment percentage, you will also manage your own client dossiers.

You bring ###

a diploma from a University of Applied Sciences for Social Work HFS/FH/BSc or another equivalent qualification and several years of professional experience as well as, if possible, specific further training in the field of child and adult protection. We wish for a reliable person with an independent and networked way of thinking. Are you resilient, can you set boundaries, do you possess good administrative skills and solid IT user knowledge (Word, Excel, possibly KLIB)?
