Social Worker 50% (m/f/d) - temporary ##

On behalf of the three regional churches, as well as several parishes in the lower and upper canton of Solothurn, Caritas Solothurn conducts Church regional social counseling services (KSB). For the Church Social Counseling Olten-Gäu-Niederamt, we are looking for a committed social worker as a maternity substitute at the Olten location.

Your tasks ###

• Voluntary and low-threshold social counseling
• Qualified triage to specific specialist centers
• Representation of the position externally
• Public relations and awareness work
• Networking with partner organizations in the region

You are integrated into the Caritas Solothurn team and work closely with the employees of KSB Solothurn-Grenchen.

What you bring with you ###

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work or equivalent training
• Very good German skills. Oral and written foreign language skills are a plus.
• Good mediation and counseling skills
• High transcultural competencies
• Good knowledge of the social welfare system in the canton of Solothurn

You are proactive, communicative, and able to balance various tasks and set priorities accordingly. You bring an independent way of working, openness, and interest in working at a polyvalent social counseling center.
