TRAVYS is the reference public transport company for the Nord Vaudois. It operates 3 railway lines and several bus lines in the Jura - Nord Vaudois region and employs more than 300 collaborators. We act daily for responsible mobility. Our mission is to offer the population quality mobility services. In order to complete our teams in Yverdon-les-Bains, we are looking for a person to occupy a position as:
Automation Technician / Technician – Railway Maintenance
Your mission
Within our railway depot, you will join a team of professionals passionate about technology and the maintenance of rolling stock.
Your daily life is varied and you will intervene notably in the following activities:
ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of railway rolling stock;
perform checks, diagnostics and troubleshooting of installations and equipment;
intervene on electrical, electronic, electrotechnical and mechanical systems;
identify malfunctions, search for their causes and carry out the necessary repairs;
participate in the technical on-call service in order to guarantee the availability and safety of the equipment;
perform railway movements and maneuvers with the various types of rolling stock;
contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and installations.
This position will allow you to make use of your technical skills in a concrete environment, where autonomy, precision and safety occupy a central place.
Your profile
You are a person of the field, curious and comfortable facing technical challenges. Ideally, you possess the following qualifications and skills:
CFC as an automation technician, mechanic-electrician or training deemed equivalent;
a few years of experience in a technical environment;
experience in the railway field constitutes an asset;
te valid AI 40 railway driving permit, an asset, or the willingness to follow the necessary training;
good analytical skills and a taste for troubleshooting and repair;
capacity to work both autonomously and in a team;
sense of responsibility, rigor and spirit of initiative;
interest in technology and desire to regularly develop your skills;
ease with common IT tools;
special sensitivity to safety issues, indispensable in our environment.
