As Head of Category Management SubCo, you are responsible for the strategic further development of material and supplier structures in the areas of building technology, waste disposal, construction and craft services, facility maintenance, and security. You lead and coach two Category Managers, negotiate framework agreements with existing and new partners, and continuously optimize the supply chain through KPI monitoring, compliance, and expenditure analyses. Additionally, you support operational teams in supplier selection and cost reduction, drive CSR and sustainability topics, and participate in national as well as international projects. What awaits you Strategy & Implementation: Further development and implementation of the material and supplier strategy in your product groups and roll-out in the regions Leadership & Coaching: Management and coaching of two Category Managers as well as central contact person for SubCo Negotiations & Framework Agreements: Conclusion and updating of framework agreements for services and material with existing and new suppliers KPI Monitoring: Monitoring of relevant key figures (costs, quality, delivery reliability) and derivation of proactive measures CSR & Sustainability: Promotion of transparency and development in the areas of security, CSR, and innovation Compliance & Process Discipline: Ensuring the proper application of global and local contracts as well as continuous optimization of the supply chain Operational Support: Accompanying operational managers in supplier selection, platform use, and cost reduction Analysis & Optimization: Carrying out expenditure analyses and initiating improvement projects Reporting & Budget: Creation of reports on cost reductions, budget planning, monitoring, and forecasting Integration & Projects: Participation in the integration of new client mandates as well as in national and international projects What you bring with you Completed commercial or technical basic training with further FH education in purchasing or supply chain management Several years of experience in strategic purchasing/category management, ideally in the SubCo environment Demonstrable leadership experience and strong project management competence Analytical mindset, affinity for numbers, and a structured way of working Strong negotiation skills and high social competence Very good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office German fluent, Swiss German and English proficient, Italian an advantage What we offer you Wide range of internal development opportunities 16 weeks maternity protection Employee celebrations and appreciation programs Part-time work and job sharing: Flexible working models that fit your life Attractive own ISS Schweiz pension fund Inexpensive mobile subscriptions from Swisscom for the whole family Personnel offer platform with attractive discounts and special conditions Structured onboarding in the initial phase Ready for us?
