Workstation Administrator (M/F/D)

As part of the development of its IT department, our client, a leading industrial company in Bienne, is looking for a Workstation Administrator to guarantee the performance, security and evolution of user environments.

You will ensure the administration, support and evolution of infrastructures related to virtualized workstations and mobility solutions. Thanks to your technical expertise, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the user experience and support the company's digital transformation projects.

Your responsibilities

• Administer and maintain workstation virtualization platforms.
• Manage terminal management solutions and mobile devices.
• Ensure the operation of VDI environments as well as Android and iOS smartphones.
• Deploy and manage applications intended for users.
• Handle complex level 3 incidents and guarantee their resolution.
• Perform audits of the IT park to identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain permanent technological watch and propose improvements to existing solutions.
• Participate in projects to evolve user environments and mobility solutions.
• Document procedures, standards and best practices.

Your profile

• CFC in computer science or equivalent training.
• Proven experience in the administration of virtualized environments, ideally VMware Horizon.
• Good knowledge of mobile device management solutions (MDM/EMM).
• Mastery of VDI environments and modern workstation technologies.
• Good level of technical and professional English.
• Excellent communication skills and sense of service.
• Autonomous, rigorous and organized personality.
• Strong ability to adapt and aptitude to work in a constantly evolving technological environment.
• Team spirit, sense of responsibility and good priority management.
