BIM Manager and Project Manager

Your contribution

• Apply the BIM method in the versatile project portfolio (infrastructure and building construction, BSA) of the division
• Advise and support the client project manager on BIM topics
• Independently lead infrastructure and building construction projects with an increased degree of digitalization, across all project phases, on the entire national road network in the Canton of Valais (F/D-speaking)
• Support the branch employees as a BIM competence carrier and ensure knowledge transfer between projects, the branch, and the ASTRA headquarters
• Together with the BIM team of the ASTRA headquarters and the BIM managers of the other branches, further develop and secure the standardization and use of BIM at ASTRA

What makes you unique

• Civil engineer ETH/ FH or equivalent, or in a related field of expertise. Additional qualifications in the field of digitalization of the construction industry are an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in the application and implementation of BIM processes and tools
• Technical and software knowledge in the field of digitalization and BIM
• Experience in project management in the construction industry, preferably as a generalist and/or on the client side
• Analytical, conceptual, and networked thinking; ability to independently explore new topics, enjoyment of working in different teams
• Good active knowledge of a second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language

Together with colleagues from all ASTRA locations, you will actively help to further advance our organization in the development and use of the BIM method. You will apply your knowledge and experience in the digitalization of the construction industry in a future-oriented manner. Through the independent management of exciting infrastructure and building construction projects throughout the Canton of Valais, you will maintain the practical connection as a project management generalist.
