Our client, a leading company in the field of railway technology, is looking for support for the location in Turgi in the team of the -Traction- department. The product group -Traction Converters- specializes in the manufacture of railway power converters. For the cable assembly production area, we are looking for motivated specialists who want to participate in a dynamic production environment.

Job description ##

As a cable assembler, you will work in production on the manufacturing and processing of cable sets of varying complexity for railway power converters. Your tasks include:

• Independent manufacturing of cable sets (stranded wire, signal, control and power cables) with different numbers of cores and cross-sections based on wiring lists
• Use of manual and electric crimping tools for processing the cables
• Reading and understanding technical drawings as well as production documents
• Contribution of improvement measures within the framework of the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Documentation of deviations in production documents (Red-Korrex)

We expect ##

• Experience in a production environment, ideally in the field of electrical engineering or switchgear construction
• Manual skills in the electrical field, preferably in industry or on construction sites (e.g., as an electrical installer or electromechanic)
• Confident reading and understanding of technical drawings and production documents
• Experience in the creation and documentation of production deviations
• Willingness to actively participate in the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Independent, conscientious and precise way of working with a high quality standard
