To support our extraordinary teams, which develop great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Simulation Engineer (a) for our location in Hägglingen / AG, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Simulation Engineer 100% (a)

These tasks await you:

• Assessment of production, process, and quality data to identify optimization and improvement potential
• Responsibility and technical leadership for the development and application of statistical methods and Design of Experiments (DOE) for process development and process optimization
• Data-based determination and optimization of process windows as well as development of solutions for process optimization, quality control, and error detection
• Support of engineering and production in complex error and root-cause analyses
• Development and implementation of machine learning and AI applications for industrial processes as well as development of internal software, analysis, and automation tools as well as analysis and visualization of production data
• Application and further development of image processing and vision solutions for testing and quality processes
• Development of solutions for the intelligent use of existing machine, process, and quality data
• Leadership and implementation of digitalization and smart manufacturing projects as well as the introduction of new technologies
• Further development of digital production and engineering methods in close cooperation with Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, Automation, and IT

Qualifications you should bring:

• Technical education at HF/FH/Uni level, for example in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, production technology, automation, industrial engineering, data science, or comparable
• Experience in an industrial production or engineering environment as well as in handling industrial image processing systems
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis and ideally experience with DOE
• High analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to complex problems
• Independent way of working as well as interest in the development and introduction of new solutions
• Good communication and teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary environment
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Open mindset as well as joy and curiosity to learn new things and to develop professionally

What you ideally also bring:

• Experience in a regulated production environment, ideally in MedTech
• Knowledge of statistics tools such as Minitab, JMP, or comparable applications
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or comparable analysis and programming tools
• Knowledge of data visualization, for example with Power BI
• Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or computer vision
• Experience with MES, machine, or production data systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
