Relief Care Worker (approx. 20% hourly wage)

Die gassechuchi - k+a is a place of residence for people affected by addiction and poverty. It offers healthy meals, accompaniment and advice on everyday questions, the possibility to work in the kitchen, as well as medical support. In the consumption rooms, drug-dependent people have the opportunity to consume their own brought narcotics under safe and hygienic conditions. The facility is open 7 days/week from 09.30 to 17.00.

Areas of responsibility ###

• Care of visitors and distribution of meals
• Motivation of clients to participate
• Enforcement of house rules
• Advice on everyday questions including triage to internal and external specialist agencies
• Participation in projects and working groups
• Administrative tasks

You possess ###

• training in the social sector (e.g., social pedagogy, social support, specialist in care) or in the nursing sector psychiatry
• experience in the addiction sector and/or psychiatry (advantageous)
• good PC user skills (M365)

You are ###

• possibly at the beginning of your professional career or also continuing to be professionally active after retirement
• resilient, able to work in a team, and have assertiveness
• empathetic and have an appreciative and respectful attitude in dealing with people in special life situations
• flexible and enjoy working on weekends and during school holidays
