As part of "FIT for the Future", the administrative services of Empa, Eawag, WSL and PSI (4 research institutes) are being strategically oriented towards the future. The objective is to create cross-functional, integrated and digitally-focused service organizations.  For the management of the Program Office and as a central key function for the program management, we are looking for a temporary mandate of 2 to 3 years for an experienced personality having the proven ability to successfully lead complex transformations in the context of scientific excellence and professional and scalable operating models, as Your tasks • You decisively drive the transformation at the interface between strategy and implementation and ensure that this ambitious structural reform is implemented effectively  • You design and implement, in collaboration with the research institutes, the target operating models and integration architectures for finance, HR and IT  • You translate strategic decisions into actionable programs with realistic decision-making and governance structures  • You organize the implementation of the transformation and ensure prudent and effective management of change and stakeholders  • You are a thought partner for the program management and advance topics even where interests diverge and where decisions are politically sensitive Your profile • Master in business management, business informatics or a comparable field  • Several years of experience in the design and implementation of transformations in complex organizations (public context, science or large organizations preferred)  • Proven success in inter-organizational integration projects such as the implementation of shared services, harmonization projects or the development of new operating models  • Marked ability to develop viable and feasible solutions in politically charged and stakeholder-intensive contexts  • Ability to move easily between strategic concept, governance issues and operational implementation  • Proven experience in management in demanding environments with highly qualified specialists  • Great personal sovereignty, decisiveness and capacity for persuasion  • Very good knowledge of German and English We offer An exceptional key mission awaits you, with great visibility, wide latitude and direct influence on the strategic reorientation of the service organizations of the four research institutes of the ETH domain.  The workplace is located in Villigen (PSI), Birmensdorf (WSL) and Dübendorf (Empa / Eawag).
