Infrastructure Systems Engineer (f/m/d) # Be your best with bechtle ## On behalf of our state client based in Fribourg, we are looking for an Infrastructure Systems SRE Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for designing, administering, and evolving Kubernetes and cloud platforms, while supporting the skill development of a future SRE team.   Your mission #### • Design the technical architecture of Kubernetes clusters and an integrated cloud platform, taking into account infrastructure, security, and operational requirements. • Administer, automate, and evolve the Kubernetes platform using Infrastructure as Code approaches, notably with Terraform, OpenTofu and Ansible. • Design and maintain CI, CD and IaC pipelines, Kubernetes manifests as well as the Helm Charts necessary for the various projects. • Ensure support, operation, observability and continuous improvement of solutions, while maintaining up-to-date documentation and repositories. • Transfer knowledge to internal infrastructure engineers and actively contribute to the formation and skill development of an SRE team. Your profile ## • Senior Systems Engineer or expert with proven experience in Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, VMware vSphere and compute, storage, network and backup infrastructures. • Advanced mastery of Kubernetes and its ecosystem, including Helm, operators, network and storage components, observability, security and CNCF Cloud Native solutions. • Excellent mastery of YAML pipelines under Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services, as well as Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash and Python languages and tools. • Kubernetes certification required and HERMES methodology certification or knowledge expected, with a good mastery of agile methods, Jira, Confluence and DevOps and SecOps practices. • French at C2 level and English at B2 level as well as residence in Fribourg or the surrounding areas.
