Main road construction works director # Technical Office | 80-100 % | Samedan ## The Technical Office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of cantonal roads, as well as for hydraulic works and slow mobility in the Grisons. Furthermore, we take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the cantonal territory. The road infrastructure of the Canton comprises over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 meters in height and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain Canton hides in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. For the road construction section, we are looking for a works director for 1 November 2026 or by agreement Tasks • Direction and control of the construction sites assigned to you in your capacity as the client's representative • Determination of deadlines and coordination of works • Guarantee of quality, measurement activity and the execution of all works provided for in the contract • Preparation of estimates, tender documentation and accounts • Monitoring of the estimate What we expect from you • Completed professional apprenticeship in construction • Additional training as a site manager, master builder or works director or equivalent professional advancement • Several years of professional experience in the road construction and civil engineering sector • Practical experience in the description of services • Is a person capable of asserting themselves, endowed with organizational skills and ability to conduct negotiations as well as to work in a team • Knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desired We look forward to receiving your online application and will be pleased to meet you.
