VAT / Accounting Clerk with Advisory Activities 80 - 100%

We are a bilateral foreign chamber of commerce for over 100 years, whose goal is to support companies in economic traffic between Germany, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. For collaboration in the Handelskammer Deutschland-Schweiz, we are looking for a VAT-focused Accounting Clerk immediately or by arrangement.

Your area of activity:

Your area of responsibility includes in particular:

• the support of cross-border VAT issues from the perspective of Swiss VAT law
• VAT fiscal representation in Switzerland, in particular the examination, preparation and submission of VAT returns for foreign companies to the Eidgenössische Steuerverwaltung

Your profile:

We are looking for a customer-oriented personality who supports our team and enjoys telephone customer contact as well as personal advice. As a team player, you act flexibly and reliably. You work through your tasks in a structured manner and have an eye for detail. Your background should be:

• Commercial basic training, Accounting Clerk an advantage
• Experience in Swiss VAT law required
• Proficient German skills in writing and speech
• Common MS-Office user knowledge
• Enjoyment of working independently
• Exact and reliable way of working as well as a strong understanding of numbers
• Good communication skills, teamwork and resilience
