Technical Specialist - Laser Turning (M/F)

Introduction ##

For our Research & Development department, we are looking for a Technical Specialist (M/F) whose main mission will be to manufacture prototype components, to develop laser turning processes for new materials and to help solve complex problems surrounding laser ablation processes.

Responsibilities ##

• Prepare programs and manufacture components intended for new products
• Organize and perform laser machinability tests at the watchmaking scale
• Program and operate the production and measurement equipment of an R&D cell
• Develop suitable fixtures for testing
• Analyze and identify possible root causes during problematic production situations
• Process, interpret and format the results obtained

Profile ##

• CFC in automation, mechanics, micromechanics or training deemed equivalent
• Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in a specialist role in laser turning
• Knowledge of programming outside of CNC would be an asset
• Appetite for exploring new approaches in laser ablation
• Proactive, dynamic, autonomous and proactive, with a strong team spirit
• Rigorous and methodical
• Strong customer orientation, interpersonal skills
