Geriatric Specialist 70-100% Your tasks Do you want to use your expertise in geriatrics where it shows direct impact – in daily nursing and in the further development of nursing practice? As a Geriatric Specialist, you strengthen evidence-based, person-centered care. You support teams professionally, promote clinical thinking and actively contribute to the quality of nursing and care. You advise and support employees in complex nursing questions and promote their knowledge through Bedside Teaching, case discussions and training. You provide advice to residents and relatives, especially in complex therapy decisions. Furthermore, you support the team during doctor visits, new admissions and difficult nursing situations. You are responsible for the implementation of nursing concepts in everyday life. In addition, you are responsible for the professional application of nursing documentation, keep nursing plans up to date and thereby ensure a high quality of nursing. You train and support employees in the correct use of nursing documentation. In your role, you work across locations and contribute to the further development as well as the standardization of medical-nursing processes, treatment and professional standards.
