After-school Care Manager - Site Opening Koch-Park, 75 %

For the opening of our new childcare site Koch-Park, we are looking for a committed After-school Care Manager as of 19 October 2026, who enjoys helping to shape a new location from the very beginning and creating a lively childcare setting for kindergarten children together with a motivated team.

At the beginning, the team will be supplemented by a childcare specialist and a school assistant, and will be reinforced by additional team members in due course according to the growth of the site. The position is initially distributed over 5 working days per week.

Tasks ##

• Care and supervision of kindergarten children in the lunchtime and evening after-school care
• Empathetic and needs-oriented support of the children in everyday childcare
• Participation in the cross-group childcare offer during school holidays
• Participation in school events and in school working groups
• Administrative and operational tasks
• Implementation of the school's pedagogical objectives

Profile ##

• You enjoy working in a team, contribute with enthusiasm, and value a warm, appreciative, and supportive togetherness
• You approach children warmly, sensitively, patiently, and respectfully and enjoy accompanying them in their daily lives
• You have a solution-oriented and flexible basic attitude and are willing to actively contribute to the further development of our growing school-based childcare
• You possess a high degree of social competence, communication and conflict skills, as well as commitment
• Ideally, you already have experience in the care and supervision of kindergarten children
• You have very good oral German skills (C2)

You have a recognized degree as a Social Pedagogue FH or HF, Social Worker FH or HF, Kindergartener, teacher at the primary school level (CH), Childcare Professional HF, Childhood Pedagogue HF, or a university degree with a major in Social Pedagogy, Pedagogy, or Educational Sciences.
