Job description
Help shape the future of our children - above the rooftops of Luzern! Are you a passionate childcare specialist, do you value a professional working environment and are you looking for a position in which you can contribute your pedagogical expertise and at the same time train the specialists of tomorrow? Then we offer you the right perspective. For our Kita Chenderstube in the Luzerner Neustadt, we are looking for a committed, responsible and professionally sound personality as of 1. February 2027 (or by arrangement). Your future working environment: A central workplace awaits you directly at the Luzern station, in the penthouse of the Hotel Waldstätterhof. In our family-like Kita with 14 places, we care for children from 3 months up to kindergarten entry daily. As a certified Purzelbaum-Kita, we place great importance on plenty of movement, healthy nutrition and holistic early childhood education. The institution's sponsor is the Gemeinnützige Frauenverein Luzern (SGF Stadt Luzern). Your area of responsibility and impact

Pedagogical daily life: You accompany and promote the children individually as well as in the group and professionally implement our pedagogical concept in daily life.
Vocational training & practical instruction: You take on the main responsibility for the professionally competent accompaniment, promotion and assessment of our apprentices (FaBe Kind) and successfully guide them through their training.
Educational partnership: You engage in daily, appreciative exchange with the parents and actively work on shaping transparent cooperation.
Teamwork: You actively contribute to team meetings and participate with commitment in the planning and implementation of internal projects and activities.
What you bring with you

A completed training as Childcare Specialist (FaBe) specialization Child (EFZ) or an equivalently recognized pedagogical qualification.
The completed vocational trainer course (BBK) as well as ideally already experience in the practical training of apprentices.
Sound pedagogical specialist competence, strong sense of responsibility and joy in passing on knowledge.
A reflective, resilient personality with high social competence and empathy.
Independent, structured and reliable way of working.
Good German skills in speaking and writing.
What you can look forward to

Attractive location: A modern workplace in the heart of Luzern with optimal transport connections, 5 weeks of vacation as well as a gifted day off on your birthday.
Co-creation: Freedom for your own pedagogical impulses in everyday group life and in the design of apprentice instruction.
Collaboration: A dynamic working environment with flat hierarchies in which an open feedback culture is actively lived.
Perspectives: A long-term perspective in an appreciative environment, fair employment conditions and targeted support for your subject-specific further developments.
