Social Worker / Social Worker Social Counseling ## The Zentrum für Soziales is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100'000 people, we work with great commitment, at a low threshold, and networked in the following areas: Kindes- und Erwachsenenschutzbehörde (KESB), Berufsbeistandschaft, Sozialberatung, Mütter- und Väterberatung, Suchtberatung and Schulsozialarbeit. Within the framework of voluntary social counseling, the social workers offer counseling and support for young people, adults, couples and families on the basis of the legal mandate (Personal Social Assistance). In doing so, the following topics are in focus, among others: assessments in problematic life situations and overcoming personal emergency situations, help in clarifying relationship issues, parenting and family counseling, clarification of social insurance issues as well as budget counseling.
