Job Description ##

• Responsibility for the general ledger and various companies
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER
• Responsibility for the subsidiary ledgers including accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Execution of account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Support during tax and audit examinations
• Responsibility for cash management and payment transactions
• Preparation of reports and analyses for the Finance Management
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Further development and optimization of existing accounting processes
• Collaboration on finance projects as well as on the further development of the ERP system
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners

The Successful Applicant ##

• Completed commercial training with further education in finance and accounting, ideally federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis)
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international industrial company
• Sound knowledge in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards
• Experience with intercompany transactions and value-added tax
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Experience with a common ERP system, ideally SAP
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working
• High personal responsibility and strong affinity for numbers
• Team-oriented and strong communication personality
