For our client in the Winterthur region, we are looking for an experienced, independent, and communicative personality as a Construction Manager / Project Coordinator in the field of electrical substations and energy infrastructure, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Accompanying and supporting the execution planning as well as ensuring professional implementation of the construction and assembly work
• Coordination, instruction, and issuance of work orders to construction and assembly companies on site
• Support for the senior construction management and overall project management during the execution phase
• Monitoring and control of the performed work regarding quality, deadlines, and project specifications
• Supervisory control of compliance with safety and health protection regulations on the construction site
• Regular reporting on project progress, deviations, and necessary measures
• Management and maintenance of the client-side project journal and the corresponding project documentation
• Organization and management of construction meetings as well as coordination of the companies involved
• Ensuring smooth communication between the client, project management, and executing companies

Your profile

• Technical basic training, ideally in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable specialty
• Several years of professional experience in construction management, project management, or technical project coordination
• Experience in the field of energy supply, electrical substations, or industrial plants is an advantage
• Ideally a professional background at companies such as Alstom, GE, Hitachi Energy, or an energy or grid operator
• Fundamental technical understanding of electrical substations and their infrastructure
• In-depth specialized knowledge in the field of high voltage technology is not mandatory
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Experience in coordinating different companies and project participants
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Strong communication, assertive, and solution-oriented personality
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications
