Max Lehner AG has been developing and producing chemical-technical cleaning, polishing, and care products for professional use, mainly in the B2B market, since 1960. With the takeover of the operational FRISAG business as of 1 July 2026, we have expanded our portfolio. Under the brands maxolen, FRISAG and carlack, we supply customers domestic and abroad.

For our plant in Ottenbach, we are looking for an experienced specialist who combines product development, QA laboratory, and process engineering and also works practically themselves.

Your tasks

• Develop recipes, improve existing products, and prepare laboratory batches.
• Test raw materials and finished products as well as document quality specifications, batch releases, and blockages.
• Conduct stability and preservation tests or coordinate them with suppliers and external laboratories.
• Transfer recipes to production and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Test raw material and recipe changes before their introduction and document them traceably.
• Investigate production deviations and complaints and accompany effective corrective measures.
• Reliably maintain recipes, bills of materials, manufacturing instructions, testing documents, and retention samples.
• Support production with technical questions as well as with cleaning and hygiene processes.

Your profile

You have training or a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering and practical experience in development and quality assurance. Experienced chemical laboratory technicians with sound development practice are also welcome.
Ideally, you are familiar with cleaning agents, polishes, or emulsions and their manufacture. You work independently, carefully, and in a solution-oriented manner, document your work traceably, and address deviations early on. You appreciate a versatile task in an SME and close cooperation with production.
Good German skills are required. English skills for technical documents and supplier contacts, as well as knowledge of chemical law, are an advantage.
