Initial situation ###

Before the coffee even gets cold, the shipment should be on its way.
Sounds like a normal morning in air freight... For a small team, we are looking for someone who knows the Swiss air freight business and likes to take charge of their shipments personally. From the first inquiry to delivery, you will take care of the processing - import as well as export from A to Z.

Tasks ###

• processing air freight shipments in import and export from A to Z
• organizing pickups, bookings as well as pre- and post-carriage
• creating and checking air freight, customs and transport documents
• coordinating with airlines, handling agents, customers and international partners
• monitoring shipments, flight schedules, transit times and delivery dates
• processing changes, inquiries and irregularities
• looking after customers and ensuring that shipments are at the right place at the right time

Requirements ###

• completed training as a freight forwarding agent (Speditionskaufmann/-frau) or comparable training
• several years of experience in air freight in Switzerland
• good knowledge of the processes in the import and export business
• independent and reliable way of working
• uncomplicated personality who thinks ahead and enjoys taking responsibility

IT ###

MS-Office - good knowledge

Languages ###

German: m+s very good
English: m+s good to very good
